5. Matching Services
Au Pair Wave provides matching services to connect families seeking childcare providers (including au pairs, caregivers, nannies, and nurses) with individuals seeking childcare positions. We interview and recommend the best match for you based on your preferences and qualifications, however we cannot guarantee a perfect match.
6. Visa and Immigration
Au Pair Wave does not guarantee that any User will be able to obtain a visa or work permit. It is your sole responsibility to determine the visa and immigration requirements for your specific situation and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
7. Screening and Verification
We screen documents and references provided by applicants. However, we cannot guarantee the accuracy or completeness of such information or the suitability of any User for a particular childcare position. You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence before entering into any agreement with another User.
8. Disclaimers
Au Pair Wave does not provide childcare services. We are a platform that connects families with potential childcare providers. We do not employ any childcare providers and we are not responsible for the quality of services provided by any User.
9. Limitation of Liability
Au Pair Wave is not liable for any damages arising out of or related to your use of the Website or Services, including, but not limited to, damages for personal injury, property damage, or economic loss.
10. Termination
We may terminate your access to the Website or Services at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. You may also terminate your account at any time.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
12. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms will be settled by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the European Arbitration Association in Europe and American Arbitration Association in the US. The arbitration will be held in Lisbon, Portugal.
13. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Au Pair Wave regarding your use of the Website and Services.
14. Amendment
We may amend these Terms at any time by posting the amended terms on the Website. Your continued use of the Website or Services after the amended terms are posted will be considered your acceptance of the amended terms.
